I still don't get it. Does he want to be able to call people racist too, and he's jealous because he thinks that republicans can't get away with it?

To be honest, I haven't paid enough attention to have an opinion, but some how the Will Rogers quote seemed appropriate since you could apply it whatever your take on it (he's a dumb, or may be he's a dumb racist, or the folks he called out are dumb racists, or we're all just dumb asses for commenting on it or...).

If there is one thing I am confident about, it's my own ignorance.

That's the spirit! What better way to combat hatred and bigotry and ignorance but with a trip to my favorite institution of higher learning?! It really is a beautiful part of the country.
